2. Luke 15:1-10 details two parables. What is the common element in both stories? What do both stories teach us about God's character?

3. When everyone gathered around Jesus in Luke 15, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them." How are the Pharisees just as lost as the sinners they despised?

4. Do you still have significant friendships with those who don't know God, or have you isolated yourself from nonbelievers (intentionally or unintentionally)? What can you do to better "welcome sinners" into your life?
